Agents at Select Travel Group’s 14th annual conference in Kuala Lumpur at the weekend were told they were fully equipped “to really take advantage of increased capacity and competition in the region.”

With over 350 independently-owned agency members, the Select Group is Australia’s largest Australia-Asia agency business in terms of number and volume. It is powered by Express Ticketing’s platform of Express Fares and Express Ticket and a host of optional support services.

Chief executive of the Select Group, Tom Manwaring told 130 delegates that Select’s Express Ticketing business-to-business platform was a sophisticated technological and marketing toolkit.

“It is elevating bottom line performance and productivity across Select members who have adapted to the modern era,“ he said. “With this system access they are fully equipped to really take advantage of increased capacity, competition and exclusive product in the region.”

“Exclusive Mandarin European brochures and product by Trafalgar Tours are an example of powerful segment based marketing that is an exciting development for the group,” he said.
