Virgin Atlantic starts superhero campaign

Virgin Atlantic starts superhero campaign
By admin

Virgin Atlantic has launched a new marketing campaign in Australia following its release to UK and US markets earlier this year.

The advertisement's tag line is “flying in the face of ordinary” and portrays the cabin crew as super heroes.

“The advertisement picks up on how people come to join Virgin Atlantic, with a sixth sense for customer service,” Fisher said.

Fisher told Travel Today that customer service and interaction with crew is why passengers enjoy Virgin Atlantic more than other airlines.

Explaining the campaign strategy, Fisher said that flying has become commonplace in the last few decades.

“For a lot of airlines, it’s a case of getting from one place to another – but that’s not what Virgin Atlantic is about,” Fisher said.

As Virgin Atlantic’s third campaign in five years it will be the umbrella strategy for the airline going forward.

“People say Virgin Atlantic is a lot like Virgin Australia and I think that’s a nice compliment,” Fisher said. “Five years ago that wasn’t the case and people weren’t sure what they’d get on Virgin Atlantic,” he added.
