Carnival Australia has appointed two new sales managers to join its new sales structure.

Ryan Taibel will lead the P&O Cruises' sales team and Brett Wendorf will head the Princess Cruises' team under Carnival's new "multi-brand focus" which involves separate brand-focused sales teams.

Teams are already in place for Carnival Cruise Lines and Holland America Line and Seabourn.

 

Air France and Air Tahiti Nui have confirmed they will develop a joint codeshare agreement to "better service" the Paris to Los Angeles route.

Both carriers have applied to the relevant authorities for antitrust immunity for alliance agreements including a bi-lateral joint venture enabling them to coordinate services on the route.

Air Tahiti Nui currently flies four to eight times a week from Paris to Papeete via Los Angeles including one codeshare flight with Air France.

 

Quest Serviced Apartments has opened the doors at new Mornington Peninsula property, Quest Frankston on the Bay.

The 82-apartment property occupies four floors with the new 10-storey Peninsula on the Bay complex in Frankston.

The firm will open an additional five Australian properties this year, with a further three to open in New Zealand.

 

Following swiftly on the heels of the announcement of its Kurrajong property, Toga Hotels has debuted in Tasmania with the rebadging of the 131-room Leisure Inn Hobart Macquarie as the Travelodge Hobart.

 

Brisbane Airport has launched a new mobile app for iPhones providing instant travellers with access to information about departures and arrivals, parking, airport facilities and directions.

It also features a My Trip function enabling flight details to be saved to phones and then shared with friends via Facebook and Twitter.

 

Airport Infrastructure Fund has advised that the sale of all its assets is now complete. Future Fund will now control the assets which include Perth Airport, Queensland Airports, Northern Territory Airports and the Australian Pacific Airports Corporation.
