Global corporate travel management company, BCD Travel has opened a state-of-the-art business travel centre in Mumbai.

The newest business travel centre for the 200 BCD Travel employees is located in Mumbai’s commercial district and is said to reflect the company's commitment to business growth and corporate social responsibility.

The travel management company inaugurated its new facilities last night.

“We chose to open our new office during the Navaratri festival,” BCD Travel India managing Director Ajay Bali said.

“It is an auspicious occasion to celebrate the convenient, environmentally conscious, state-of-the-art working environment we’ve created for our staff. These facilities will accommodate both our employees’ professional development and our overall growth as we continue to expand our operations in India.”

BCD has operated in India for over 14 years, employing more than 700 people in the country.

The company has additional business travel centres in Bangalore, Delhi, Chennai, Pune, Hyderabad and Trivandrum and is said to boast a client retention rate of over 97% in the country.

“We’ve targeted this highly competitive centre to support our multinational expansion in the Asia-Pacific region,” BCD Travel president Asia Pacific, Greg O’Neil said.

“We’ve built our reputation on flexible, innovative service. The next few years will be full of opportunities to build on that success by serving customers in exciting new ways. Our new centre’s capacity to drive efficiencies, consolidation and scalability for us and our clients will be fundamental to these initiatives.”
