WATCH: Travel Counsellors Video Series – Clare Hardie

If you haven’t been paying attention, this is our sixth (!) instalment of our Travel Counsellors video series!

These videos have been pretty damn inspiring (if we do say so ourselves) and we’re only halfway through.

Last week, Travel Counsellor Hamish Naicker showed us how he can work from anywhere – even atop a cliff.

His favourite thing about being a Travel Counsellor is that he controls his own earnings and effectively runs his own business – but without the “flightmares” and with a better work life balance. Sounds pretty good, right?

Well today, let us introduce you to Clare Hardie, who lives on a farm with her family and absolutely loves being a Travel Counsellor.

“I found out about Travel Counsellors while I was still working in retail travel. I was just looking for something that got me out of an office, and that would give me flexibility to work from home and be my own boss,” she said.

Theres a network of over 1,800 Travel Counsellors world wide, and 150 in Australia already – and the job comes with flexibility, repeat customers, and untapped earning potential.

Being a Travel Counsellor also means that you run your own business, but still have the support of a head office to back you up.

“Travel Counsellors offers support in many areas: air, marketing, business development, products, payments team, IT. There’s always someone to help you,” Clare said.

“The most rewarding part of my job is being able to send people on their dream holidays. It’s something that they work for and they long for, and to be able to actually help someone achieve that… there isn’t really any other job I’d want to do.”
