Watch: Dnata team clean an entire plane in 25 minutes

If you enjoy watching other people clean things then boy have we got a treat for you.

Ever wondered who cleans up all those icky weird things everyone loves stashing behind their seats like dirty tissues and used puke bags?

Who wipes down the food trays and replaces the pillows?

Well for Emirates flights, it’s the cleanly folk over at dnata.

To ensure passengers spend their time on board in a spick and span cabin, the Aircraft Appearance team from dnata works around the clock to ensure each Emirates flight is prepped for its next journey.

Cleaning over 98,000 flights per year – an average of 270 per day – the team can manage the mammoth task in no time at all.

A team of 21 will clean a Boeing 777 in just 25 minutes, while an Airbus A380 is cleaned in 35 minutes by a team of 42 people.

That equates to over 40 million seats cleaned every year.

Don’t worry, it’s sped up, we wouldn’t really make you sit through a 25-minute clip.
