Australia scores a guernsey in world’s top 10 sauciest hotels

Valentine’s Day doesn’t have to mean just chocolates, flowers and breakfast in bed. And with Australia on the top ten most romantic hotels, it doesn’t have to mean expensive overseas holidays either.

The world’s largest travel site TripAdvisor has released the top romantic hotels around the world to make your gift finding even easier – it’s just a plane flight away.

Pokolbin’s Spicers Vineyard Estate in NSW graced the list at number three, just short of Aruba’s Bucuti & Tara Beach Resort and the UK’s Old Rectory Hotel.

“Travellers looking to enjoy a relaxing getaway with their special someone can confidently book these award-winning properties that consistently win over the hearts of their guests,” said Barbara Messing, chief marketing officer for TripAdvisor.
