Scenic shows off Australian offering

Scenic has launched its 2017/2018 Australia program with an added tour to showcase the best Victoria has to offer.

Marking Scenic’s 30th anniversary, the 11 Day Victorian Discovery pays homage to the very first coach tour Scenic offered when it began operating in 1986.

A round trip from Melbourne, the journey then heads south along the iconic surf coast via Geelong, Lorne and onto the Great Ocean Road – home to the Twelve Apostles – and Warrnambool. Then heading inland via the rugged landscape of the Grampians mountain range to the spa town of Daylesford and artistic Bendigo.

Scenic Journey Designer Australia and New Zealand, Liz Crowley, said the new special commemorative tour marks the company’s milestone with a journey along the Great Ocean Road, the perfect addition to our Australia program.

“We are delighted to have further extended our domestic offering particularly as more and more guests are staying local and wanting to explore Australia.”

The 2017/2018 program also sees the launch of a new Enrich experience in Tasmania – a guided tour of the Convict town of Ross. New Freechoice activities include a walking tour of Perth and there are also two new hotels – Norfolk Island guests will now stay at the South Pacific Resort, and in Western Australia guests will enjoy a two night Scenic Special Stay at Pullman Bunker Bay.

Scenic is offering a number of Earlybird offers for bookings made by 31 March 2017, including partner fly free with Qantas on the 23 Day Treasures of the West Coast with savings of up to $1,400 per couple including taxes up to a value of $150 per person. Plus partner Fly Free on the 12 Day Top End & Kimberley Spectacular; 17 Day South Western Tapestry or 22 Day Territory Discoverer & The Kimberley – a saving of up to $1,000 per couple.

The Endless Wonders of Australia 2017 brochure is out now.
