Room-res debuts two agent tools set to shake-up hotel bookings

Wholesale hotel bookings company Room-res.com has officially become the best friend of the industry with the launch of two key tools designed to make the lives of agents seriously easier.

The wholesaler, which works specifically with retail agents booking hotels for clients, has just launched two game-changing features that are already shaking up the industry.

It’s important to note here, these recently launched tools haven’t simply been created on a whim, these are ideas that have been developed alongside requests from agents.

The first tool has convenience as its core and allows agents to more flexibly curate client bookings.

The Hold & Pay Later enables agents to, quite literally, hold a room and pay later, once their client has made their mind up.

The enticing part of the tool is being able to take the pressure off clients and bring control back into the hands of agents.

Hold & Pay Later means agents can reserve a room for up to 72 hours, and the best part is; the cost of the room won’t be affected by any price changes while they decide.

    Thought we were done?

    Well, we’re not.

Hold & Pay Later also guarantees your planned margin with a promise the room won’t sell out as you and your client potter through final details.

Next up, and equally as important to retail agents, is Room-res.com’s Itinerary Builder.

If there was ever a tool which proved a wholesaler’s commitment to making agent lives easier and doing so with increased margins and better service for clients, this is it.

The Itinerary Builder allows agents to book or hold multi-stay Itineraries.

This means agents are able to have their clients reserving multiple properties across their entire trip, rather than individually booking each hotel.

A huge benefit of this is agents will still be able to secure their clients the best rates at every hotel throughout the duration of the holiday.

An added bonus of using the Itinerary Builder is having access to the Hold Itinerary feature.

Hold Itinerary takes the pressure off clients, giving them time to finalise the details of their itinerary and know you have secured that rate for up to 72 hours when you are quoting.

‘Stop talking and show us how to use these tools!’ we hear you scream.

Well, read about both the Hold & Pay Later and Itinerary Booking features here.

    Happy booking folks!
