Niue Island hosts celebratory event

Niue Island welcomed tourism representatives and New Zealand’s High Commissioner for Niue, to mark the changing of a guard, and welcome Niue Tourist Authority’s newest Chairperson.

At Scenic Matavai Resort, General Manager Brett Inkster handed over his role to incoming General manager, Simon Jackson, at the changing of the guard.

The event also welcomed Mrs Saluma Hunt as the newest Chairperson for Niue Tourist Authority.

Niue Tourism’s marketing manager, Jo Kennedy, said the event marked an “exciting new chapter” for Niue’s Tourism.
