Midweek Interview: Elle Willmott, Business Development Executive, MW Tours

The challenge for the industry is.. having enough time in a day to do everything, you can never have enough time

The things I like about my job.. I love being able to meet new faces and talk about beautiful destinations on a daily basis. We live in such a diverse world with so much to offer!

If I didn’t work in travel I would be.. travelling the world if I had the money and volunteering in less privileged countries

Favourite airline? This is a tough one but I’d have to say Singapore Airlines for their reputable service. Without fail, Everytime you fly with SQ the service is flawless.

My proudest moment was… Becoming an Aunty to my beautiful sister and her two children.

The naughtiest thing I ever did was… sneak over the back fence of a nightclub when I was 16.

I try to relax by… listening to Bon Iver and lying in the sunshine.

The last time I feared for my life was… on the back of a ‘’piki piki’’ motorbike on the freeway in Kenya. A near miss with a truck at high speed.

If I can, I always try to avoid… small spaces, where I feel cramped or no escape.

I really wish I had… Money to give to the people who need it most.

The best advice I’ve ever received was… you can not buy memories they are what you make them.

I don’t understand why people… are violent, there is too much violence and wars in this world.

My greatest weakness is… lollies I love them! So I try not to go down the confectionary isle at the supermarket.

And my greatest strength is… loyality to the ones I love.

If I won a $1 million lottery (aside from travelling), I would…buy a farm.

If I was prime minister I would… Subsidise dental so everyone can afford it.

If I could be someone else for one day I would be a… Does it have to be a person? cause I think being a bird would give you some pretty sweet views

I’ve always wanted to travel to… Patagonia.

My favourite holiday was… This is a hard one as every destination.
