Hawaiian Airlines to star in new season of Seven’s ‘Step Outside with Paul Burt’

If you and/or your clients love Hawaii, fishing, the great outdoors and food, mark your calendar for 8 December and a sneak peek of what’s in store in early 2020 with TV show Step Outside with Paul Burt.

Hawaiian Airlines recently flew Burt and his team on its nonstop daily flight between Sydney and Hawaii to film dozens of story segments, tips, fishing, and cooking adventures, which will feature in every episode of the 7mate show for three months, starting March next year.

Taking full advantage of the airline’s free two lots of 32-kilo checked baggage allowance per passenger, Burt tell viewers that for his family, that means up to a quarter of a tonne of baggage, before he heads off to check-in a cylinder of prized fishing rods in oversized baggage.

In Hawaii, as well as fishing from many and various fabulous locations, Burt catches up with Hawaiian Airlines executive chef Lee Anne Wong at her famous Koko Head Café in Honolulu and learns firsthand how to make poke, miso-smoked pork and teriyaki salmon salad (which is served in the airline’s business class).

Step Outside with Paul Burt launched in March this year and has attracted a strong national following for its easy-going Aussie take on life enjoyed outdoors.

Every weekly episode of the show’s second season will feature one to two Hawaiian destination stories, along with the chance to win a Hawaiian holiday.
