Flight Centre releases exclusive Broadway packages

Broadway Collection, in partnership with Flight Centre, has made NYC’s Broadway productions more accessible to Aussie travellers than ever, with the release of three exclusive packages.

Starting at AU$565, packages include city central accommodation and tickets to iconic shows such as The Lion King, Aladdin and Wicked.

The Lion King 

Lion King Las Vegas

Since debuting in 1997, The Lion King has become the most successful musical in history, attracting more than 90 million viewers worldwide. Based on the world-famous Disney movie, The Lion King has been awarded six Tony Awards, including Best Musical.

Directed by the talented Julie Taymor, the musical features exhilarating choreography and unforgettable music written by the award-winning songwriting team of Elton John and Tim Rice.

The Lion King packages start from AUD$565 per person* and includes four nights’ accommodation at the Belvedere Hotel plus a show ticket.   

Aladdin 

Disney Theatrical Productions under the direction of Thomas Schumacher presents Aladdin, the new musical, music by Alan Menken, lyrrics by Howard Ashman and Tim Rice, book and additional lyrics by Chad Beguelin at the Ed Mirvish Theatre in Toronto, Canada, starring: Adam Jacobs (Aladdin), James Monroe Iglehart (Genie), Courtney Reed (Jasmine), Brian Gonzales (Babkak), Brandon O'Neill (Kassim), Jonathan Schwartz (Omar), Clifton Davis (Sultan), Don Darryl Rivera (Iago), Merwin Foard (standby Jafar/Sultan), Michael James Scott (standby Genie/Babkak) and Jonathan Freeman (Jafar) directed and choreographed by Casey Nicholaw

Aladdin, from the producer of The Lion King, offers an unforgettable performance full of beauty, magic and comedy. Now in its third year on Broadway, the musical directed and choreographed by Tony Award winner Casey Nicholaw sends viewers of all ages to a mystical land where wishes come true.

Aladdin packages start from AUD$949 per person and includes four nights’ accommodation at Le Parker Meridien and a reserve show ticket. 

Wicked

Wicked unveils the untold story of the Witches of Oz and the unlikely friendship between two girls until the world decides to call one ‘good’, and the other one ‘wicked’.

Described as “the defining musical of the decade” by the New York Times, this Broadway sensation transfixes thousands of spectators with its wildly inventive story and Stephen Schwartz’ unforgettable songs including ‘Defying Gravity’ and ‘Popular’.

Wicked packages start from AUD$859 per person* including four nights’ accommodation at the Intercontinental New York Times Square and a reserve show ticket in the front mezzanine.

Packages are on sale from today until 18 September 2017 and separate terms and conditions apply per each deal.
