In preparation for #ChooseCruise this October, Cruise Line International Association (CLIA) Australasia has launched its digital Travel Agent Toolkit available exclusively to CLIA travel agent members.

The Toolkit includes marketing materials which agents can use to develop their own promotions, and includes downloadable social media tiles and postcards, a gallery of images, as well as destination and EDM headers.

“With #ChooseCruise coming up, we want to assist our member agents by providing them resources to promote and sell cruise holidays to those new to cruising and those returning to holiday at sea,” said Joel Katz, Managing Director CLIA Australasia & Asia.

“As cruising continues to grow in popularity, the additional focus on all things cruise coinciding with the start of the Australasian cruise season makes October a particularly popular month for travellers to explore all the cruise options available and book their cruise holiday.

“The #ChooseCruise Toolkit is packed with great resources, so that agents can feel confident they have everything they need to successfully promote and sell cruise holidays this October.”

CLIA has also provided a marketing activity plan template and a social media content calendar to assist travel agents to further market #ChooseCruise.

Agents and agencies with the most creative campaigns during October, both online and offline, will be rewarded with prizes and giveaways. Prizes include incredible cruises with Heritage Line and Coral Expeditions, as well as Breakaway travel vouchers, and more.

In addition to launching its Toolkit, CLIA hosted its first #ChooseCruise webinar for CLIA travel agent members on how to get involved in this global campaign, and grow their cruise sales.

For agents who were unable to join there is still time to register for the second webinar hosted on 5 September.
