Agent ‘sidekick’ launches to help sell tours

Australia’s first organised tour database has arrived, created exclusively for travel agents to access 1000’s of land and water based tours worldwide.

The purpose of this database? To give agents access to thousands of tours in seconds, and after only just launching, Journey Atlas already has a number of partners.

So far, the company has scooped the likes of Collette, G Adventures, Intrepid, On The Go Tours, Globus, World Expeditions, Topdeck, Avalon, Bunnik Tours, and more, each bringing anywhere from 40 to 900 tours to the party.

The Journey Atlas database runs on up to date infrastructure that has been designed and built by the team and is maintained in-house.

They have direct access from tour operators to tour data, which enables them to provide travel agents with up to date access to all tours with a departure date, current prices and travel dates.

Director Alex Obleshchuk said, “Travel agents no longer need to tell clients that they will get back to them in a few days to allow for research time.

“With over 5,000 tours currently available to travel agents, they can now compete with OTA’s in service delivery.

“Travel agents, say goodbye to lost leads, adding tour research to your lengthy to do list, waiting for tour brochures to be delivered and tripping over stacks of out of date brochures in the office.

“With Journey Atlas, you can email organised tour links to your customer and follow them up with our easy to use Journey Planner system.

“Become an expert on tours with minimal effort to maximise commissions.”

The database can be accessed anywhere and on any device, mobile included, and aims to simplify the process of selecting, comparing and emailing tour information to clients.

Journey Atlas acts as a community for travel agents where they can share and read product reviews and catch podcasts from various tour operators from their mobile device.

Journey Atlas is also a sustainable long term solution to printed brochures for tour operators who are conscious of their sustainable business practises as the whole process from selection to beginning the booking is electronic.

They’re even throwing out a free 21 day trial, which you can sign up to on the website.
