Adventure World launches first USA program

Adventure World has launched its foray into the USA with a dedicated tailor-made brochure collection.

At an event held at the Australian Museum, trade stakeholders attended the launch with The Travel Corporation CEO Brett Tollman.

“I’ve lived in the US for 30 years and looking through this brochure there are so many places I want to see,” Tollman said.

The event was in partnership with Brand USA and included activations such as flames for smores, virtual reality of Utah, food trucks serving tacos, Portland beer and Napa Valley wines.

“It’s been 18 months of hard work to bring it through to where we are today – from product procurement to reservations,” Adventure World managing director Neil Rodgers said.

Adventure World also took the opportunity to highlight the sustainable emphasis of The Travel Corporation’s TreadRight Foundation and its partnership with volunteering organisation ME to WE foundation.

The three course dinner was American themed, with New England Clam Chowder to start and pumpkin pie to finish, accompanied by Sonomo and Napa Valley wine as well as an Oregon dessert beer.
