Adventure World has launched its Trek America 2014/15 program with the price of tours now including all en-route accommodation.

The wholesaler said the change will add value and make it easier for clients to understand and for agents to sell.

Product additions include six new budget lodging tours while a seven-day Western Adventure trip from LA to Las Vegas has been added along with an 80-day trip taking in 48 states with optional extensions to Alaska and Hawaii.

Bookings made during October will earn a free night pre and post tour.

 

Virgin Australia will begin a twice-weekly service between Brisbane and Cloncurry in regional Queensland from November 27.

Flights will be operated by 98-seat Embraer E190 jets on Wednesday and Friday.

 

The founder of mamamia.com.au, Mia Freedman, has been named as a keynote speaker at the Travellers Choice conference in Hobart in November.

Freedman will reveal the secrets of creating an online community and provide tips on how agents can build an online audience.

 

Accor has become the official hotel partner for the inaugural Corroberee festival to be held in Sydney in November.

The 11-day event will celebrate Indigenous heritage and contemporary Aboriginal culture and is expected to draw 55,000 visitors to Sydney.

 

Etihad is marking its 10th anniversary with sale fares from Australia to 10 European cities.

Fares include a return from Sydney to Amsterdam from $1260, Melbourne to Istanbul from $1209 and Brisbane to Paris from 1315.
