Paperbark Camp: Take a break from the big smoke and enjoy luxury glamping in Jervis Bay

Paperbark Camp, a unique glamping property on the NSW South Coast, has announced a series of winter wellness retreats this year to help guests restore, reset, replenish and reconnect with themselves and nature.

The three-night nature escapes will be held at the luxurious, award-winning eco camp this May, June and August, with a saving of 10 per cent offered for bookings made by March 20, 2023.

The retreats aim to help guests nourish their souls, calm their minds and re-energise their spirits with reflective and immersive time at the deluxe camp, which is nestled in pristine, riverside bushland close to Jervis Bay, 2½ hours south of Sydney.

Ideal for solo guests, couples or friends, the reconnection retreats promise soothing ‘chill time’ amongst the camp’s majestic eucalypts, complemented by an abundance of wildlife and birds that wake guests gently with their sweet song.

Led by experienced local practitioners and guides, the mid-year retreats will feature daily yoga, breathwork and meditation sessions, forest bathing, guided bushwalks, illuminating life coaching sessions, indigenous cultural experiences to connect with country, campfire drum circles, specially curated healthy cuisine and opportunities to swim with wild seals and kayak with dolphins on Jervis Bay.

Each of Paperbark’s 13 luxe, elevated tents are heated and feature a private, open-air ensuite with bush shower and bush-view bath,  spacious terrace, king/twin bed with organic cotton linen and handmade bath products from Dindi Naturals.

Autumn and winter are favourite seasons at Paperbark for many guests, with luxury campers enjoying crisp, cooler days, warm bedding, hot water bottles, hot chocolates, marshmallows and warming liqueurs around the campfire as well as hearty gourmet meals in the camp’s treetop restaurant. The tranquil, riverside setting in the bush is home to kangaroos, possums and colourful birdlife.  The blue-sapphire waters of Jervis Bay are just minutes away as are whale and dolphin cruises.

The dates for the three midweek retreats are May 9-11, June 6-8 and August 8-10, 2023. Including three nights’ accommodation, all meals, a bushwalking backpack and a program of activities, the retreats are available from $2175 per person, twin-share, or $2400 for solo guests. Swimming with the seals is $100 extra.

A 10 per cent earlybird saving is available for bookings made by March 20, 2023, lowering the cost of the three-night retreats to $1958 per person, twin-share, or $2160 for solo guests. Use the code ‘NURTURE’ to receive the saving when booking.
