Industry veteran explains why holiday parks are still a good option
While their image may be somewhat stuck in the 70s or 80s, there’s been a growing trend across all ages of people returning to holday in holiday parks.
Ideal for families, they offer a range of activities and facilities that cater to all age groups.
Peter Chapman, general manager of marketing and sales at Reflections Holiday Parks spoke to Travel Weekly about why heading to the park can be a great option for friends, family and lovers.
“You can enjoy the stunning beaches and scenic walks and also spend quality time together visiting nearby restaurants that are often hidden gems with their own charm,” he said.
“Reflections Holiday Parks have added some new glamping tents that are perfect for families wanting to try something new compared to the average hotel room that doesn’t have a lot going on. From Bonny Hills, Jimmy’s Beach and Seals Rock on the Mid Coast to Lennox Head and Mylestom, these glamping precincts are beautiful stays. Fully equipped kitchens and comfy beds don’t tend to be attached to camping nor do TV’s or private bathrooms, but these come with just that and all the luxuries of a hotel.”

Holiday parks put a lot of effort into ensuring their onsite activities, facilities and communal areas are top notch to ensure the most enjoyable stay with friends and even grab those Instagram worthy shots that many might have thought they wouldn’t get at a holiday park,” he said.
