Osborn House has launched a brand-new Forest Bathing Deck overlooking Morton National Park, in the picturesque NSW Southern Highlands town of Bundanoon, just a few hours south of Sydney.

It’s part of an all-new Forest Lodge stay experience at the five additional Forest Lodges, which offer all-inclusive stay packages to further elevate its luxury offering.

The design-led boutique hotel with a collection of 27 suites, offers various wellness experiences, locally focused dining and drinking, and sprawling established gardens overlooking Morton National Park, just two hours south of Sydney in the picturesque town.

“Osborn House has always been synonymous with luxury, but our new Forest Lodge stay experience really takes it to another level,” Osborn House general manager, Max Mason, said: “With an extra five architecturally designed Forest Lodges now on-property, we’re able to accommodate the increasing demand we’ve seen for our most premium stay option, and the luxury and exclusivity we know our guests are looking for.

“The introduction of all-inclusive Forest Lodge stay packages means our guests can completely immerse themselves in the Osborn House luxury experience and make the most of everything our exceptional hotel has to offer.”

The Forest Bathing Deck, complete with ice bath, sauna, jacuzzi, fire pit and unbeatable views out from the isolated forest through to Morton National Park is a one-of-a-kind addition.

“It’s an extremely exciting time at Osborn House and we look forward to welcoming guests to experience the evolution of luxury at the hotel throughout autumn, winter and beyond,” he said.

The five new freestanding Forest Lodges join an existing seven, with the 15 suites set in the main heritage house. All Forest Lodges are positioned with uninterrupted views across Morton National Park, with some set higher and backing into the forest.

Architecturally designed by sustainable building company, Wild Modular, with interior design by former Soho House Group Design Director, Linda Boronkay, Osborn House’s Forest Lodges are the premium accommodation option at the hotel.

Each Forest Lodge has bespoke lighting, bohemian style vintage rugs, classic but contemporary décor, timber-panelled walls, a woodfire, and a deep outdoor bath to soak in and make the most of the incredible views. They’ve been designed to ensure maximum privacy, and unparalleled luxury stay experience.

For the first-time, Osborn House is also offering all-inclusive stay packages for Forest Lodge guests. These packages are available on 2-, 3-, and 5-night stays in Forest Lodges, with inclusions increasing the more nights stayed.

Building on Osborn House’s existing spa and wellness offering is the opening of its brand-new Forest Bathing Deck set outdoors in the middle of the forest. It’s an extremely private setting, with only two guests able to access the deck’s sauna, jacuzzi, ice bath and fire pit at a time. This experience is for the exclusive use of Forest Lodge guests, with bookings taken for sessions.

Other spa and wellness experiences at Osborn House include its serene day spa with four treatment rooms offering massages, facials and couples therapies using LaGaia products, a 25m lap pool with retractable roof, steam room and additional sauna which all guests can access.

There are also pickleball and tennis courts, a fully equipped gym with Peloton bikes, and pilates equipment in the gym and each suite courtesy of The Pilates Class who Osborn House has an exclusive partnership with.

As it’s always been, Osborn House’s food and drink offering remains a highlight of any stay. Guests, plus external guests, can enjoy Dinah’s restaurant for dinner between Wednesday and Sunday, and George’s bar for lunch and dinner every day.

Dinah’s is a shared, refined set menu, while George’s is more of a relaxed, clubhouse experience. Both menus feature local Southern Highlands produce, including Musset Holdings vegetables and eggs, Moonacres bread, Wollumbi Estate olive oil and Rockaway Farm chicken.

Wine leans local, with premium international wines also available, and expertly mixed cocktails including a Woodlands Old Fashioned and Osborn Sour rounding out the extensive drinks offering.

Every month on a Sunday afternoon between April and November, Osborn House invites guests, and external guests, to Fire Feast, a theatrical, open fire South American cooking experience using Southern Highlands produce and South Coast seafood.

Fire Feast was born out of the passion and experience of Osborn House’s Argentinian team of chefs and the inspiration they draw from Latin American food legend Francis Mallman and his unique cooking craft which has its roots firmly embedded in South American food culture.

The dates for Fire Feast in 2024 are Sunday 2 June, Sunday 7 July, Sunday 4 August, Sunday 1 September, Sunday 6 October and Sunday 3 November.

In addition to the on-property offering, Osborn House has curated a selection of Southern Highlands experiences that are bookable for guests, including wine touring, golf, bushwalks, horse riding and fly fishing. Osborn House is also able to curate bespoke Southern Highlands itineraries for its guests on request.
