    Celebrity Cruises’ Celebrity Edge has arrived in Australian and New Zealand waters to set sail from Sydney, Australia, taking guests on a 12-night itinerary exploring the coastlines, fjords and cities of New Zealand.

    This voyage is the first of 12 itineraries from early December through April 2024, designed to immerse guests in the coastlines of Australia New Zealand, along with the South Pacific. Guests can choose from a range of six- to 13-night itineraries visiting 22 ports, with departures from both Sydney and Auckland.

    Celebrity Edge is widely regarded as one of the most innovative cruise ships on earth, shattering perceptions of cruising with a number of firsts on board for a cruise ship. Her arrival in this region is a moment of celebration not just for Celebrity Cruises, but for guests as well,” said Laura Hodges Bethge, president of Celebrity Cruises.

    “There’s no better way to experience what this region has to offer, and we’re so excited to bring such a special holiday experience Down Under.”

More than a cruise ship, Celebrity Edge offers a remarkable experience that stands apart from anything else at sea. With its contemporary interior and outward-facing design, travellers will have unparalleled views of the sea and the destinations they’re visiting, as they immerse themselves in this beautiful part of the world.”

    Highlights of the 2023-24 season include:

    • A gin-centric sailing to Tasmania with Four Pillars Gin;
    • A new port visiting Kangaroo Island;
    • Overnight opportunities in Cairns, Hobart and Auckland;
    • A 10-night South Pacific itinerary, transporting guests to Fiji, American Samoa, New Caledonia, Vanuatu, and Mystery Island;
    • The 9-night Australian Wine cruise.
