Visitors to Flight Centre’s Sydney flagship store will be able to picture their adventurous spirit reflection in the landscapes of Canada’s British Columbia, travelling from Rainforest to Rockies from 21-27 February, 2024.

Passers-by of the Flight Centre, George Street storefront will be immersed in a ‘Wall of Wonder’ and transported to the majestic rainforests, coast, desert, and mighty peaks of the Canadian Rockies; reflecting the ever-changing landscapes discovered along Rainforest to Rockies routes in British Columbia, Canada.

“The British Columbia ‘Wall of Wonder’ will bring a touch of ‘Rainforest to Rockies’ magic to the streets of Sydney, surprising visitors who will physically see their adventurous spirit reflecting back at them,” said Maya Lange, VP of global marketing at Destination BC.

The ‘Wall of Wonder’ transports visitors adventurous spirit from the daily routine of life in the city to the variety of natural wonders along the Rainforest to Rockies Route. From Pacific coastlines to lush rainforests to the Rocky Mountains, this immersive experience allows visitors to imagine themselves reconnecting with the many wonders of nature.

“It’s a great way to step out of the hustle and bustle and find a moment of calm and wonder,” added Lange.

The ambitious ‘Wall of Wonder’ activation heralds the launch of Destination British Columbia’s new tourism brand ‘Rainforest to Rockies.’ The tourism marketing organisation successfully launched the ‘Wall of Wonder’ in London UK recently on Tottenham Court Road.

Visitors to the Sydney activation will also be able to enter a competition to win a holiday for two to British Columbia, Canada, via a Flight Centre travel credit valued at AU$20,000 to design their own trip to British Columbia.

The prize will consist of two return economy class airfares to Vancouver, accommodation and car rental. For a chance to win, visitors are invited to share their images or videos of their interactions with the ‘Wall of Wonder’ on social media, follow @rainforesttorockies on Instagram and share the videos with hashtag #rainforesttorockies.

On launch day, Wednesday 21 February, the Nine Network’s Today Show Weather will also visit Flight Centre’s Sydney superstore for three live crosses in the morning, to showcase the reflection of ones spirited self in the landscapes of Canada’s British Columbia.
