Aunt Betty gets you around even more

Aunt Betty gets you around even more

She already is a pretty good looking lady, but Aunt Betty has had some work done to look better than ever, and can now look after travellers even more.

The web travel business makes holiday planning even easier with the addition of an exciting new feature, Trip Planner, allowing travellers to explore their own way.

Aunt Betty General Manager, Joell Ogilvie, spoke to Travel Weekly about the new feature, saying the tool was the perfect addition to the travel business offering a one-stop online platform to build the framework for a hassle-free overseas holiday.

“Launched to coincide with excellent early bird rates now on offer to Europe as low as $1219 on Singapore Airlines (valid for sale until 30 September 2016), Aunt Betty puts the dream overseas holiday at your fingertips through the easy-to-navigate Trip Planner technology,’’ Ogilvie said.

Keeping with the philosophy that Aunt Betty cares, Ogilvie said “it is an exciting addition to the Aunt Betty suite of tools that offer the very latest in web search and booking technology, backed by the personal touch of traditional travel agents if required.

Travellers can tailor their own holiday based on trip type, duration, starting and finishing points, places of interest, ground transportation and more.

Speaking exclusively to Travel Weekly, Ogilvie said the future for Aunt Betty will also include partnering with suppliers and packaging technology to extend beyond the current offerings to offer customers a more packaged product.

“We are looking for a simplistic way to package a trip for customers, something that doesn’t currently exist in Australian market. There are online booking sites offering air and hotels, however Aunt Betty will be there to help people book their travels simply online, in a way they don’t feel overwhelmed.”
