    Adventure World’s innovative Make Travel Matter program offers travellers the chance to give back to local communities by adding first-hand experiences at their destinations. 

    Among the Adventure World exclusives is the Animals Asia Bear Sanctuary experience in Tam Dao, Vietnam where guests are able to see first-hand the Asiatic bears that have been rescued from bile farms. They will also learn about bear conservation and the end of bile farming bringing into action UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDG), Adventure World managing director Neil Rodgers said.

    “At Adventure World, we believe travel has the power to create positive change,” Rodgers said. “Our Make Travel Matter experiences are carefully curated to align with the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDG), ensuring each trip contributes to a better future for the people, places, and wildlife encountered.”

    The diverse range of Make Travel Matter Experiences across the globe also includes: Learning to cook traditional Moroccan cuisine at a social enterprise that empowers women in Marrakech; Exploring the Sepilok Rainforest Discovery Centre in Borneo, where visitors connect with nature and contribute to rainforest preservation efforts; and experiencing the Grizzly Bears of the Wild tour on Vancouver Island, Canada led by the indigenous KwaKwaka’wakw people.
