Webjet launches Lots of Hotels in Middle East
By admin

Webjet's Dubai-based business to business hotel aggregation platform, Lots of Hotels, has gone live, with the firm forecasting the venture will break even within the first six months.

The wholly-owned subisidiary, headed by Ossama Wagdi, has launched initially in Dubai, Kuwait and Turkey, with plans to expand into nine additional markets in the Middle East and Africa by the middle of the year.

Webjet has outlined expectations the new platform will generate revenue of $20 million in its first full year.

"Leveraging Webjet's existing hotel aggregation model and leading technology, Lots of Hotels will offer the most extensive inventory in the region with over one million hotel rooms on sale worldwide, every night," the online retailer said.

Lots of Hotels will source content from multiple suppliers and via direct contracts with global hotel chains and independent properties, with 24/7 support provided by its service centre in Dubai.
