Transparency key for Travellers Choice

Transparency key for Travellers Choice

A series of meetings across Australia this month will see Travellers Choice members across Australia “have their say” on the retailer’s current and future strategic direction.

Travellers Choice chairman Trish Ridsdale and chief executive Christian Hunter will conduct the meetings which will also brief member shareholders on the company’s financial performance and update them on industry developments such as AFTA’s ongoing reform of travel agent licencing.

Hunter said the annual gatherings were reflective of high levels of transparency within the business.

“These meetings provide our member shareholders with a unique opportunity to receive direct updates on decisions of the Travellers Choice Board, as well as the chance to have any questions answered,” he said.

“At the same time, members attending the annual gatherings can highlight some of the specific challenges facing their businesses, and in the past that has often helped us collectively identify solutions that benefit our entire network.”

The meetings will commence in Adelaide on July 10, followed by Melbourne on July 11, Sydney on July 12, Canberra on July 13, Brisbane on July 14 and Perth on July 16.
