Kearns is expected to report to executive general manager, group brand and marketing Tim McColl Jones, and will “play a key role in developing future marketing strategies for the carrier, which is expected to include a major brand push,” according to the Mumbrella report.

Kearns was previously a Qantas employee back in 2010 as senior adviser corporate communications before joining Jetstar in 2012.
