Own the Sydney Opera House
By admin

Have you ever looked over at the Sydney Opera House and thought it looked truly majestic? Well the Opera House is offering Aussies the chance to own a piece of this national icon.

Virtual tiles on the tallest sails of the Opera House are now available to purchase as part of their ‘Own our House’ campaign.

Sydney siders have already started buying the tiles, choosing an ‘ice’ tile for $100 or a rarer ‘snow’ tile for $400. People can personalize their tile with a photo, a short message and even choosing to own a tile beside their favourite Australian Celebrities.

The Opera House is asking the public to support the renewal of the Australian Icon and World Heritage listed masterpiece.

Accor Hotels are supporting the campaign by offering their guests the gift of an ‘ice’ tile if they stay at participating Accor hotels for three nights. Guests can book between the 13th of January and 9th of February for holidays before the end of 2014.

All tiles must be redeemed through the Sydney Opera House by 28 February 2014.
