Oaks Hotels & Resorts has appointed Daniel Csortan as general manager of sales, effective immediately. The move represents a promotion for Csortan, previously the firm's aread director of sales and marketing for South Australia, Western Australia and New South Wales.

 

British Airways has unveiled a range of sale fares to the UK and Europe across all cabins with tickets from Sydney to London via Singapore in World Traveller economy from $1,738. The sale is on until February 4 for departures from February 2 to May 31 and September 1 to November 25.

 

Until February 28, Hawaiian Airlines is offering return economy fares from $1055 to Honolulu from Sydney or Melbourne with an optional side visit to Maui, Kauai or Hawaii Island from $5. The offer is available until February 28 for travel between February 1 and March 31 and throughout November 2013.

 

Lastminute.com.au has launched a new marketing campaign offering disgraced athlete Lance Armstrong suggestions for a last minute escape in the wake of the last week's controversial Oprah interview. The "tongue-in-cheek" ad is running in mX newspaper.

 

APT has released its Winter Wonderland 2013 brochure featuring Christmas and New Year tours in Canada and Europe. Product includes river cruising in Europe, Christmas markets and rail and land tours through the Rockies. Fly free offers to Europe are available for river cruise bookings made before March 31.
