Into The Wild Escapes invites travellers to spend more in regional towns via new campaign
Edited by Travel Weekly

Into The Wild Escapes, which runs Tiny Homes, has partnered with Empty Esky to launch a heartfelt ‘Support Local’ campaign aimed at giving back to local, regional communities that are facing unprecedented challenges.

Into The Wild Escapes is encouraging its guests to participate in their upcoming initiative to promote sustainable tourism and support regional towns.

Into The Wild Escapes said partnering with Empty Esky “was a natural alignment”. Empty Esky is an Instagram-based initiative that was founded in 2020 off the back of the Australian bushfires that affected so many.

As part of the ‘Support Local’ Campaign, Into The Wild Escapes will be offering an exclusive discount on all properties from Monday 29 January 10am (AEDT) to Friday 12 February 4pm (AEDT), where guests can save up to $250 off their tiny home stay”.

From their savings, Into The Wild Escapes and Empty Esky are encouraging guests to use the money they have saved to spend in regional towns instead. Whether it’s shopping at the local market, dining in regional restaurants, or purchasing local produce and wine – every dollar spent contributes to the growth of these communities.

“At Into The Wild Escapes, we believe in the transformative power of rewilding and experiencing nature, especially in our own big backyard. Our ‘Support Local’ initiative combines this ethos and brings to life our love for supporting local communities. It’s more than just visiting a tiny home, or exploring somewhere new. It’s about our commitment to empowering local communities and our way of giving back to those that need it most”, Celeste Giannas, Into The Wild Escapes founder.

Erin Boutros, Empty Esky’s co-founder, added: “We’re beyond excited to join forces with ‘Into The Wild’ for this impactful campaign. Our regional towns have faced tough times recently – from bushfires and COVID-19 to floods – and the journey to economic recovery is still ongoing. Sadly, some businesses may not survive. The good news is we all have the power to create positive change and provide crucial support to those in need right now. Book in a tiny home, take your Empty Esky, buy local and have some fun along the way!”

Into The Wild Escapes said its guests will not only be creating unforgettable experiences in nature, but also playing a vital role in supporting the economies of the regional towns that welcome them.
