Malaysian Airlines (MH) is continuing to enhance its onboard experience with the addition of complimentary Wi-Fi access to all passengers on select flights from 1 November.

The service will initially be rolled out on 20 select widebody aircraft, and at a later stage, the service will be made available on some narrowbody aircraft in the fleet.

The enhancement follows MH’s complimentary in-flight Wi-Fi offering on 1 July to all business suite and business class passengers along with ‘enrich platinum’ members on all classes of the flight at a data cap of 100MB per sector.

The new service will mean that all on-board the flight will no longer be required to subscribe to the airline’s pay-per-use Wi-Fi.

Passengers will simply connect their device to the ‘MHconnect’ network to enjoy free in-flight internet access.

“We are delighted to extend our complimentary Wi-Fi offering to passengers across all travel class [sic]; making us one of the first airlines to enable such convenience,’ CEO (airlines), Malaysia Aviation Group, Ahmad Luqman Mohd Azmi, said.

“In addition, unlike previous date capping, we now offer unlimited data, allowing guests to conveniently stay connected throughout their journey – whether connecting with their loved ones or for work purposes throughout their journey with us.

“We remain dedicated to ensuring that every aspect of our service is designed to make our customer’s journey as seamless, hassle-free and enjoyable as possible, and will continue to invest in initiatives that will greatly benefit their experience onboard Malaysian Hospitality.”
