Applications for the Government’s Reviving International Tourism Grant are about to close!

The Council of Australian Tour Operators (CATO) is urging its members, along with other Australia-based tour operators and travel wholesalers, to apply for the Federal Government’s Reviving International Tourism Grant (RITG) program.

The application window closes on Tuesday, 13th June, at 4 pm.

In a collaborative endeavour with ATEC, CATO secured federal government funding exclusively for outbound and inbound tour operators and travel wholesalers.

The initiative was developed with the strategic intent of providing financial assistance to bonafide tourism exporters (inbound) and tour operators/wholesalers (outbound), aiming to reinvest in the rebuilding and strengthening of international supply chains, as leisure-based travel continues to emerge from the COVID-19 pandemic.

“We want to ensure that all eligible businesses are fully aware of the impending deadline for applications to the RITG program,” MD, CATO, Brett Jardine, said.

“This grant provides a rare chance for bonafide tour operators and travel wholesalers to receive financial support that will be instrumental in re-establishing international connectivity.”
