Nordic tour operator 50 Degrees North has unveiled a new day tour offering for those travellers who want to escape the crowds and group tours and engage a private and personal guided service for their city visits.

Nordic Private Guides offers a selection of privately-guided city walks, tours and experiences across the Nordics and the Baltics, including smaller cruise ports.

The tours range from two to six hours in length and are led by a Nordic specialist with “genuine local expertise”.

“Travellers may be on a self-booked independent tour, but want to meet a local guide to show them those hidden secrets in town,” 50 Degrees North said in a statement.

“They may be on a cruise along the Norwegian coast, or the Baltic Sea and want to escape the large group and overpriced shore excursions.”

The brand offers online booking, instant confirmation and secure online payment, along with “favourable” terms for travel agents and online agency login for self-management of bookings.
