MTA agents flock to the Gold Coast for long-awaited Virtuoso event

After being postponed multiple due to COVID-19, Virtuoso’s coveted Travel Week kicked off its Gold Coast leg last week.

The event gave Virtuoso agents in southeast Queensland and northern NSW the opportunity to meet with many new domestic suppliers and learn about the variety of domestic product now available through Virtuoso, as well as to enjoy the face-to-face catch up with colleagues and suppliers.

Among the audience was a team from MTA-Mobile Travel Agents, who were out in force with 22 attendees including MTA co-founders and managing directors Karen and Roy Merricks.

“A huge thanks to Virtuoso for persevering and making sure this event took place,” Karen Merricks said.

“The event was well-received with our advisors enjoying the opportunity to learn about such a quality range of domestic suppliers, as well the bonus of meeting up in person after such a long time.

“The last time we all met up was our MTA 20th anniversary conference exactly one year ago!”
