Royal Caribbean crew send spectacular Valentine’s Day message

Royal Caribbean International has gone to the extreme in spreading the love on Valentine’s Day with help from some of its crew on board Quantum of the Seas.

Incredible photos have emerged of crew members forming heart shapes on the cruise ship’s Flowrider surf simulator and iFly skydiving simulator to celebrate the annual day of romance.

Funnily enough, the two Royal Caribbean crew members on the Flowrider – Rose Serim and Johel Fonseca – are actually a real-life couple.

The couple met on Ovation of the Seas in October 2017 and had their first date at the ship’s speciality restaurant, Izumi.

Serim and Fonseca have been together for almost three-and-a-half years, and have also worked on Spectrum of the Seas, Symphony of the Seas and Anthem of the Seas together.

Quantum of the Seas is currently offering three- and four-night ‘Ocean Getaways’ out of Singapore, and one of the only cruise ships in the world sailing with guests right now, having hosted more than 25,000 across 20-plus sailings since December 2020.

This vessel is due to arrive in Brisbane for her maiden Australian season for the 21/22 summer.
