CLIA to showcase membership benefits in new webinar

The Cruise Lines International Association (CLIA) is set to host a webinar for travel agents this week in an attempt to drum up a few new members.

The webinar will be held at 11am AEDT (1pm NZDT) on Thursday 17 December and is open to existing CLIA members as well as agents interested in joining.

The session will explain the key benefits, including CLIA’s education programs, events and certification program.

It will also explain the organisation’s new rewards program, through which agents can receive bonus commissions and rewards with a combined indicative value of over $1,500 when making eligible bookings during 2021.

CLIA’s director of membership and events for Australasia, Marita Nosic, said member benefits had never been more comprehensive and would give agents a significant advantage as the travel industry moved into recovery.

“Every aspect of CLIA membership in 2021 has been developed and enhanced to give agents the best possible support, education and rewards during a critical time for our industry,” she said.

“CLIA’s education opportunities have been designed to give agents a clear selling advantage, while the 2021 CLIA Travel Agent Rewards Program can repay the cost of membership many times over.”
