Join Grapevine, Texas for a virtual painting party

The Texan city of Grapevine is combining two things synonymous with the destination: art and wine.

Grapevine Convention & Visitors Bureau has partnered with Paintvine to host a virtual wine and painting evening.

If you’re keen to unwind and find your creativity, grab your favourite glass of wine, clear the kitchen table and pull out the arts and crafts box. Grapevine’s virtual painting party is super-easy, with no experience needed.

The party will take place tomorrow (Friday 8 May) at 2pm AEST, where participants will paint (and drink) their way toward something that resembles the below artwork:

Below is a list of suggested supplies to participate:

  • 1 x canvas, canvas board or paper
  • 2 x brushes (1x small, 1x medium or large)
  • 5 x paint (primary colours + black and white)
  • 1 x HB pencil
  • Something to put your paint on
  • Water cup
  • Paper towel

If you don’t have the exact supplies, you can create your masterpiece with colour pencils, marker pens, pastels, watercolour, or anything else you can think of.

Space is limited, so if you’re interested in joining Grapevine’s virtual painting party, you can register here or email bailey@canuckiwi.com.
