This film buff travels the world to match movie scenes to their filming location

This film lover’s Instagram account is giving us serious wanderlust today.

Thomas Duke has been travelling the world since 2017 conducting what he calls a “little photography endeavour” where he lines up photographs of scenes from movies with their filming locations. And the results are mesmerising.

“As a lover of film, it’s a joy to step through the real-life sets of my favourite stories, matching up the scenes as I go and exploring places I otherwise would have no idea exist,” the Englishman said on his Facebook page.

“I do this for the passion I have for film and that just about sums it up really. I can’t wait to explore some more!”

Duke posts his iconic images to his Instagram account @steppingthroughfilm.
