A drunk plane passenger has been placed in custody after urinating on another passenger’s luggage.

Following the incident, Fox News report, American Airlines asked law enforcement to meet flight 1344 once it arrived from Chicago to Charlotte 12:52 AM local time last Thursday.

According to the police report, the victim was a 28-year-old woman. In a statement, American Airlines described the unidentified passenger as being “intoxicated” on the aircraft.

The report did not say whether any charges would be filed against the drunk passenger.

A spokeswoman for the Charlotte office of the FBI told the Charlottesville Observer that the FBI had been notified of the police report made on Friday, last week.

The FBI is responsible for investigating criminal offences during airline flights in the United States.

American Airlines has been in the news a bit recently after being forced to cancel 90 flights a day, following the ongoing international grounding of Boeing 737 Max jets.
