Aussies no longer have to queue at Heathrow airport! Here’s how to take advantage

Great news, Aussies! The UK government has just announced that from next year, those holding an Australian passport will be able to fast track through immigration.

But that shouldn’t come as a shock: new data from KAYAK.com.au has revealed that flight searches from Sydney to London have seen an increase of over 20 per cent for eager travellers in 2019.

So if you’re making plans to visit the UK next year (which you now obviously are), the travel experts at KAYAK.com.au recommend booking a flight to London three months in advance for the best deal.

Here are KAYAK.com.au’s top five picks for where to stay:

  1. DoubleTree by Hilton London with rooms from $233 per night, this contemporary custom hotel is in the heart of London’s financial district
  2. Montcalm Royal London House with rooms from $301 per night, this establishment is all class and rates best for wellness
