To kickstart the opening ceremony of the conference, the luxury travel network announced the winners of its 30th annual Virtuoso Travel Week Awards, which honour the networks top travel advisors, agencies and preferred partners.

The exclusive ceremony was held over the weekend at Bellagio Resort & Casino in Las Vegas.

This year, two Australian companies have taken out top awards and are no doubt recovering from a big night of celebrations as we speak.

Goldman Travel Group took home the Top Virtuoso Agency Production (Asia Pacific) and Savenio luxury travel network received the Top Year-over-year Percentage Growth award!

“This year, Goldman Travel Group celebrates 35 years in the travel industry. As a family run business, we are delighted to be recognised for the fourth year in a row as a top Virtuoso travel advisor”, said Tom Goldman, Executive Chairman of Goldman Travel Group.

The prestigious award recognises all travel companies under the Goldman Travel Group umbrella, including Goldman Travel Corporation, Travelcall, Travel Phase, SmartFlyer Australia, Quintessentially Travel Australia, and The Cruise Centre.

“The company continues to grow from strength to strength, building success year on year with much thanks to our committed, hard-working agents and strong relationships with our supplier and client partners”, said Anthony Goldman, Joint Managing Director of Goldman Travel Group.

The Top Year-over-year Percentage Growth award pitched Savenio against Virtuoso’s travel agency partners across 50 countries, recognising the extraordinary growth of the brand over the past 12 months.

“This award is a true reflection of Savenio’s commitment to two things: building a network of fantastic advisors and providing a platform where they can deliver excellent travel experiences for their clients,” Savenio’s Managing Director, David Brandon said.

“My Savenio colleagues are drawn from the top 2 per cent of Australian travel advisors and have an unrivalled level of experience and knowledge of luxury product and commitment to client service.”
