Agents! Here’s how to win a spot on a Peru famil!
Public service announcement to all agents: we have the best news ever!
Because in less than a month, you could secure yourself a spot on a Peru famil!
And it’s super easy, too.
So how can you get yourself on a trip to Peru? All you have to do is complete a simple Peru Travel Training Program.
Courtesy of the Peru Export and Tourism Promotion Board (or PROMPERÚ), this training platform allows agents to learn all about Peru – and on your own time.
The content is separated into easy to absorb information to help you sell Peru better – with categories like Basics, Peru’s Coastal Region, The Amazon, Adventure & Outdoors, Culture & Heritage, Culinary, and Travel Styles. There are quizzes throughout to check your knowledge, and there’s also a ton of amazing pics to make Peru even more inspiring (if that’s even possible).
There’s also a knowledge forum, where you can take advantage of the wisdom of other members, and share your own in return. The forum allows you to ask and answer some tricky questions you or others might receive from clients.
So before you know it, you’ll be an expert on Peru – and the best bits of it! Like the Ica Desert:
PROMPERÚ launched the Peru Travel Training Program earlier this year, and to celebrate the launch, announced an epic incentive for agents to win one of eight spots on a famil trip to Peru. And this is your last chance!
The incentive is now in its final month, and will run until August 4.
So basically, you have until then to get your sh*t together and enter to win a spot on the famil!
To be in the running, just sign up at www.peru.traveltraining.com.au, complete the program’s eight badges and submit your ultimate 10-day Peru itinerary to svet@gate7.com.au. Easy!
And Peru is now more accessible than ever, with new LATAM flights introduced this year.
The newest flight addition is a direct flight from Santiago to Cusco, which means that Aussies who want to make their way directly to the highlands of Peru no longer have to go via Lima, and can instead can have a Lima stopover at the end of their trip.
And, given that Lima is the food capital of Latin America, you’ll really want that stopover at the end. Three of their restaurants have been rated in the top 50 in the world, with two of those in the top 10.
Direct flights have also recently been announced between Cusco and Iquitos (which is the gateway to the Peruvian Amazon, BTW), Cusco and Trujillo (Peru’s northern archaeological capital) as well as Cusco and Pisco. If you didn’t understand what any of that meant, it’s time to sign up to for the learning program.
And, aside from the obvious choice of Machu Picchu, there are a ton of other reasons to visit Peru.
Think incredible nature, wildlife, culture, hiking and trekking on the Inca Trail, Colca Canyon, the Amazon, Arequipa, Sacred Valley and Cordillera Blanca, as well as stunning up-and-coming destinations like Chachapoyas, a valley where you can find a stunning cloud forest, Gocta Falls and the stony beauty of Kuelap fortress.
And all you have to do to potentially get to visit these landmarks is complete the training program!
We know, it’s amazing. Sign up right here.
