The Living Room cast experience Aloha in Hawaii
Hawai‘i Tourism Oceania has teamed up with Hawaiian Airlines and Hilton Hotels and Resorts to whisk Australia’s most loved lifestyle program The Living Room away for a special Hawai‘i episode, which will air tonight. The entire cast of the program travelled to the Hawaiian Islandof O‘ahu, while Doctor Chris Brown also explored the island of Kaua‘iby air, land and sea.

Hawaiian Airlines Extra Comfort seating is now available to be purchased via your GDS as an EMD-A, at a cost of AU$165 per person between Australia and Honolulu.
In conjunction with Hawaiian Airlines’ fantastic service, two x 32kg checked luggage, island-inspired complimentary meals and beverages and inflight entertainment, your clients will also receive a further five inches of extra legroom, priority boarding at the departure gate, personal power outlet and a premium amenity kit on their international flights.

Sydneysiders were transported to tropical Hawai‘i on Friday, 25th May, as Hawai‘i Tourism Oceania (HTO) along with their ‘Aloha Apprentice’ Jamie Scroop present Hawaiian lei to commuters in Sydney’s Martin Place.
Starting at 7:00am, the event included cultural demonstrations such as hula performances and ‘ukulele played by American Idol contestant DeAndre Brackensick.
In Hawai‘i, the lei is given as a greeting to show friendship and welcoming, and symbolises the spirit of Aloha in the Hawaiian culture.
Lee Anne Wong appointed as Hawaiian Airlines chef
Hawaiian Airlines has announced it has selected Lee Anne Wong, chef and owner of Honolulu’s Koko Head Café, to lead its in-flight dining program as the carrier’s new executive chef starting June 1.
Wong, whose regional and global fusion dishes have been showcased in-flight as part of Hawaiian’s popular “Featured Chef Series,” currently oversees meals on the carrier’s inbound flights from Japan.

HNL Airport signage changes effective June 1
From Friday, June 1 2018, Honolulu’s Daniel K. Inouye International Airport (HNL) will feature new signs and names for terminals, gates and baggage claim carousels. The changes will improve the guest experience by simplifying directions for travellers throughout the airport.
Hawaiian Airlines will have additional team members on hand to assist guests during the transition. From June 1 to June 3, watch out for our Hawaiian Airlines volunteers wearing purple Team Kōkua T-shirts in airport gate areas and lobbies.
