Korean Air Lines chairman apologises for ‘nut rage’ sister’s behavior

We don’t know if you guys remember the infamous ‘nut rage‘ incident in 2014 but boy was is a doozy.

Anyway, we have an update on that whole situation, because what better way to start your Monday than reading about a four-year-old drama about a tantrum over airline nuts?

Korean Air Lines chairman Cho Yang-ho has recently apologised for the behaviour of his daughters and announced they will immediately step down from their positions at the company, reports the ABC.

You may remember the eldest daughter, Cho Hyun-ah, from the aforementioned ‘nut rage’ incident, where she made global headlines by kicking a flight attendant off a plane after she was served some macadamia nuts in a packet instead of on a plate.

Well, now the younger daughter Cho Hyun-min is under investigation for assault after allegedly throwing water in a man’s face during a business meeting, according to the Guardian.

“As chairman of Korean Air as well as a father, I am terribly sorry for my daughter’s misstep,” Cho Yang-ho said, according to the ABC.

“Everything is my responsibility and fault.”

Cho also said the company would be turning over a new leaf with stronger management led by its board.
