Which companies topped Cruisers’ Choice 2018 Awards?
Is there a better combination than Fridays and Award stories?
Other than pizza and red wine of course.
And this list will surely not disappoint, though we can’t promise it’ll make you feel quite as good as pairing a margarita pizza with a delicious Cab Sauv.
Anyway, we digress.
Cruise Critic has revealed the winners of Cruisers’ Choice 2018 UK Awards, and the lineup is lush.
Royal Caribbean International has been named the top-rated cruise line across the most categories in this year’s annual UK Cruisers’ Choice Awards.
The line’s Oasis-class namesake, Oasis of the Seas, won Best Overall, Best Entertainment and Best Shore Excursions in the large ship category, as well as Best for First-Timers across all categories.
Meanwhile, Royal Caribbean’s Brilliance of the Seas won Best Service, and Freedom of the Seas secured the Best Fitness & Recreation award.
Celebrity also scooped three awards, including Best Embarkation and Best Public Rooms, as well as a cross-category win for Best for Families.
Additionally, Norwegian Cruise Line snagged two wins.
Cruise Critic’s annual Cruisers’ Choice Awards are based solely on the ratings from everyday cruisers’ reviews.
This year’s awards include reviews submitted for cruises taken during 2017, and they’re given in three categories: Large (2,000 passengers or more), Mid-Size (1,200-1,999) and Small (1,199 or fewer).
Cruise Critic’s UK MD Adam Coulter said: “The UK Cruisers’ Choice Awards mark an important date in the cruise industry’s calendar, highlighting the cruise ships that UK travellers rank as particularly outstanding — from excellent service and amazing entertainment to the best dining experiences, cabins and shore excursions.”
“Our members play an invaluable role in helping to inform and guide other cruisers and first-time travellers to find and choose the best cruise ships for their ideal holiday, and indeed, we couldn’t have this authoritative awards programme without them.”
‘So who won?!,’ you ask.
