A wide range of Queensland tourism experiences have been showcased in Japan this week as part of a Tourism and Events Queensland (TEQ) trade mission involving 22 businesses from across the state.
Tourism and Events Queensland Chief Executive Officer Leanne Coddington said the Queensland on Tour Japan mission was an opportunity to meet with 270 Japanese tourism trade representatives in Osaka, Nagoya and Tokyo.

Tempo escort agents to India
Tempo Holidays recently escorted a super-agent famil to India to experience the diversity and cultural intricacies of the fascinating destination.
Starting in Delhi, agents were immersed in India’s capital and bustling metropolis that effortlessly combines ancient traditions with modern life.
Next, was of course a visit to one of the Seven Wonders of the World – the Taj Mahal – with a sightseeing tour of Agra. This included a sunrise visit in which agents learnt all about the monument which was commissioned in 1631 and took 20,000 artisans 22 years to complete.
On the famil agents also visited Jaipur, the ‘pink city’ including an excursion to Amber Fort and Jodhpur, once the capital of former princely state of Marwar.

Insider Journeys will no longer offer Small Group Journeys or FIT Product Range for Thailand
Insider Journeys has decided to move away from offering its Small Group Journeys (SGJ) and FIT product range in Thailand with effect from end December 2017. All SGJ and FIT bookings currently held and deposited for travel post that date will be honoured.
Insider Journeys Managing Director, Tony Mayell explained the rationale for this decision. “Thailand has been a very strong performing destination for Insider Journeys, however in recent years we have seen it become more of a mainstream destination so we are consolidating with our Helloworld Travel linked wholesale businesses, Qantas Holidays and Viva Holidays with their exceptional product range available through their Thailand programme.
