How to close the deal with a commitment-shy client

How to close the deal with a commitment-shy client

Alright travel agents, listen up – because we’ve got a deal that will change your closing game.

You know the ones. The clients that reeaaaaally want to take that trip but just aren’t sure.  So you spent hours of your time with them: constructing itineraries, holding in flights – only for them to pull out at the last minute.

Commitment-shy clients can be a pain – they love everything about their trip, until they have to pay.

One of the most common reasons for a client to be scared of committing to a trip of a lifetime is money: namely that pricey (and sometimes surprising) deposit.

But Intrepid Travel has come out with a deal to sway even the most reluctant clients – until 24 September you can book a range of trips for (basically) nothing. That’s right – only a $1 deposit is needed.

Brett Mitchell, Intrepid Travel’s Regional Director for Australia and New Zealand, said, “Meeting your perfect (country) match is such a great rush filled with excitement and thrill.”

“We want to inspire travellers to re-ignite their love for travel and book their next Intrepid adventure with a swipe of spontaneity. Intrepid invites all agents to join in the thrill of the chase and help their customers beat commitment phobia,” he said.

The $1 deposit is valid on a whole bunch of small group adventures and short breaks: like an eight-day Golden Triangle tour of India, a 14-day historical and cultural tour of Japan or a quick three-day getaway to Uluru.

There’s a trip to match every commitment-shy client’s dreams.

So whether it’s sailing in Halong Bay or going on Safari in Kenya, these low deposit trips could be the decider for your reluctant client.
