New Tahiti video launches with real travellers as stars

Tahiti is quite the celebrity, after its latest video dropped online, giving couples and families the chance to star in future episodes.

The newest instalment in Tahiti Tourisme’s series is the second of three videos celebrating the divine experiences on offer in the French Polynesian island.

Chapter 2 stars California couple Alan and Leah, who were selected from last year’s casting call and flown to The Islands of Tahiti by Air Tahiti Nui for an unforgettable experience.

Their video captures the couple’s real travels immersed in the islands’ secluded beauty and unique culture.

“These days people really want to get away from it all and have a transformational experience on their holiday, and The Islands of Tahiti are the perfect place to find meaningful inspiration,” said Tahiti Tourisme CEO Paul Sloan.

“Two Stories/One Mana” promotes a deeper connection to the destination and invites travellers to seek out authentic, lesser-known experiences, in addition to enjoying the iconic beauty and privacy of the islands.  In Polynesian culture, “Mana” is the spiritual life force that connects all living things.

So if you fancy being the new face of Tahiti Tourisme – and let’s face it, free travel right? – then casting calls are now open.

Couples and families can audition by creating a 15-second video saying what inspires them about The Islands of Tahiti and what their top three favourite Tahiti activities would be.

Audition videos should be submitted via Facebook, Instagram or Twitter using the hashtag #TakeMeToTahiti.   The casting call ends April 5.
