New York travel made even better with this

New York travel made even better with this

New York is the fabulous land of all-night pizza joints, shopping and musicals, but now there’s an even better selling point for your clients.

CityPASS, the company that specialises in packaging discounted admission to iconic US attractions, has launched New York C3, a mobile pass concept that allows a more customised approach to vacation planning.

The CityPASS booklets typically contain a set number of attraction admission tickets that visitors can use over a period of nine consecutive days (14 days if you’re buying the Southern California CityPASS admission cards).

But the New York C3 mobile pass puts a slightly different spin on this concept. It allows users to select any three attractions from a curated list of 10 must-see New York City sights:

  • The Empire State Building Experience
  • Top of the Rock Observation Deck
  • American Museum of Natural History
  • 9/11 Memorial & Museum
  • Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island
  • The Metropolitan Museum of Art
  • Circle Line Sightseeing Cruises
  • Intrepid Sea, Air & Space Museum
  • Guggenheim Museum
  • Hornblower Sightseeing Cruises

And what’s more, unlike the original New York CityPASS booklet, the new pass isn’t a booklet at all – it’s a mobile pass travellers can carry on their smartphones, meaning easy access and less chance of losing it.

Those without smartphones, however, can still print out a voucher with a barcode.

The selected sights can be visited in any order and do not need to be identified at the time the pass is purchased.

“As always, we’ve handpicked the very best attractions to showcase on the pass,” explained Megan Allen, CityPASS president and CEO.

“C3 is ideal for shorter-stay visitors who don’t have time to squeeze in all of New York City’s top spots, as well as repeat visitors who have experienced New York before and have a shorter list of must-see attractions and travelers who want a customized vacation experience.”

The New York C3 mobile pass costs $74 for adults and $54 for children, age 4-12. Visitors using the pass save up to 25 per cent off the cost of purchasing individual admission tickets. Each pass is valid for nine consecutive days, starting with the first day of use.
