Qantas and Jetstar Asia expands codeshare

Qantas and Jetstar Asia are expanding their codeshare arrangements, offering customers more choice and greater frequencies across the Qantas Group Network in Asia.

Effective immediately, Qantas code will be available on a further 142 services operated by Jetstar Asia, bringing the number of weekly codeshares between the two carriers to 349 and providing customers access to Frequent Flyer benefits and services across the joint network.

Benefits of booking the Qantas codeshare on Jetstar Asia:

  • Through-check to/from their Qantas International flights
  • Earn Qantas Frequent Flyer points and status credits
  • Access to Qantas Club Lounge in Singapore (for eligible passengers)
  • Access Qantas International baggage allowance (as stated on their ticket)
  • Qantas codeshare passengers receive a hot meal on flights over 90 mins and a muffin on flights under 90 mins, plus water, tea or coffee

Currently, Qantas runs 44 weekly flights from Australia to Singapore, alongside its extensive own and partner networks between Australia and Asia.

Thus, the expanded arrangement between Qantas and Jetstar Asia will give customers greater flexibility to book itineraries that combine different Asian ports, providing the fastest and most convenient range of options to meet their travel needs.
